Summer Art Workshops!
A Picasso Picnic (Grades K-6)
Mon, June 19, 6:00-8:00pm
Learn to paint in the "Cubist" style of the great artist Pablo Picasso while you paint your own stylized tablecloth to use at summer picnics. Experience the freedom of painting in the style of a Cubist artist while you transform and rearrange picnic foods among many other things. You will leave PMA with a 'one-of-a-kind' tablecloth that will have people wondering where they could buy something so creative.
Something for Your Room (Grades 4-8)
Mon, July 17th, 6:00-8:00pm
Explore watercolor painting techniques as you design a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of wall art to decorate a room of your home. Learn how mixing other media with watercolor paint can create original works of art that have a personal connection to you...the artist. THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL/NO OPENINGS AVAILABLE!
Something for School (Grades 6-9)
Mon, July 31, 6:00-8:00pm
Have you ever recognized the graphic art on an energy drink can? What if you could make graphic art from a can into art of your own to display at your desk area or maybe for your locker at school?! Then attend this PMA Art workshop, you will be doing just that! Bring in a couple of energy drink cans that you have thoughtfully selected and PMA will show you how you can cut and transform the art from the can into your very own 'die cut display' masterpiece.
