Friends at the Piano - Year 1/Ages 5-6

Get ready to learn the piano with your friends Carlos, Dallas, the twins, Katie, and Mrs. Razzle-Dazzle. A colorful cast of characters await you in this fun-filled group class. Explore musical notation and rhythm, and learn a variety of fun songs to show your friends and family. Group learning is a great way to start your music education.

  • Tuesday 4:30pm (New Students ONLY)

  • Three 10-week sessions, 45 -minute classes

  • $140 tuition per session

  • Fall Session (Sept. 14) - tuition due Sept. 7

  • Winter Session (Jan. 4) - tuition due Dec. 15

  • Spring Session (Mar. 15) - tuition due Feb. 15

  • Materials are required and must be purchased by each student prior to the first class. Directions for ordering materials will be given out upon registration

  • Class is open to all new students. Limit 4 per class.

Beatle-Mania! - Fall Session (Grades 2-5)

Sing, dance, and perform your way through Beatle chart-toppers such as Yesterday, Revolution, With a Little Help from My Friends, Let It Be, and Yellow Submarine. This show choir is sure to be a show stopper! Provide a white t-shirt for decorating!

Grease Is the Word - Winter/Spring (Grades 2-5)

Perform as Danny and Sandy in our (rated G) versions of your favorite Grease songs such as Summer Nights, We Go Together, Greased Lightnin' and Born to Hand Jive. 50s choreography will be taught, and we will have some acting as well! Please plan to wear 50s clothing to the final concert!

  • 10-week sessions

  • Fall starts Sept. 15/Winter starts Jan. 5

  • Fall Concert Nov. 18/Winter concert March 10

  • $150 tuition per session

For the serious piano or voice student that wants to challenge their skills. Participants must have completed a minimum of two years instruction with the same teacher, must be enrolled for year-round music study, and show proficiency in technical, theory, and performance skills.

Honor students who attend all eight group classes and complete technical and performance skill benchmarks will receive a certificate at the end of the year and be invited to perform in a year-end honors recital. Students must be recommended into the honors program with prior approval of their instructor. *Please talk to your instructor to determine if this series of classes is appropriate for you.

Budding Artist Level (Piano, Elementary)

Perfect your technical, analytical, and performance skills in this vibrant piano class. Learn music theory and history through the piece you are practicing and performing. PMA Faculty will collaborate and coach your student's solo pieces and group ensembles.

Performance Artist Level (Piano & Voice, MS/HS)

Learn the art of performing in preparation for music festivals, Solo and Ensemble, and other yearly performances. Students will be paired with a partner to work on ensemble music throughout the year. Classes will include work in music history, theory, and performance coaching. Vocalists should have prior experience singing in a foreign language.

Classes are held monthly on Friday or Saturday. Class dates and times are TBA.
