Prairie Music Academy is seeking qualified musicians and/or music educators in the following disciplines:

GUITAR
Position to begin immediately. Interested candidates should have a degree in music and/or experience in the recording, gigging, and/or performing industries. Must be willing to work with school-age children, beginners, and adults. Position to include 1-2 afternoons and evenings of guitar instruction. Styles preferred include pop, rock, folk, and jazz. Some team-taught group class work will be required. Schedule to be negotiated at time of hiring.

PIANO
Position to begin immediately. Interested candidates should have a degree in piano performance and/or piano pedagogy. Candidates with pedagogy experience preferred. Must be willing to work with school-age children, beginners, and adults. Position to include 1-2 afternoons and evenings of private-lesson and/or group instruction. Candidate should be able to teach from method books, supplemental materials, and be comfortable with one or more of the following styles: Classical, pop, jazz, collaborative piano. Some team-taught group class work will be required. Schedule to be negotiated at time of hiring. 

VOICE
Position to begin immediately. Interested candidates should have a degree in music, music education, vocal performance, and/or vocal pedagogy. Must be willing to work with students beginning at age 8, middle-school & high school, and adults. Position to include 1-2 afternoons and evenings of private voice instruction. Candidate should be comfortable with musical theater, pop, and classical singing styles. Some team-taught group class work will be required. Schedule to be negotiated at time of hiring.

STRINGS
Position to begin immediately. Interested candidates should have a degree in music, music education, and/or performance/pedagogy. Must be willing to work with school-age children, beginners, and adults. Position to include 1-2 afternoons and evenings of lessons. VIOLIN and VIOLA strongly preferred. Candidate should be comfortable teaching from a method (suzuki accepted) most suitable to the student. Some team-taught group class work will be required. Schedule to be negotiated at time of hiring.
